Ceramic Heater

The Fir emitting ceramic heater with automatic temperature control is placed on the floor, and works extremely well in very cold weather.

The Ionizer

An Ionizer generates a large number of negative ions and some oxygen, just as do nature's ionizers, like waterfalls and lightning. Negative ions help clear pollutants, especially smaller-sized, more hazardous particles, from the air, and kill tiny microbes. They seem to adjust physiological function balance, leaving people relaxed and more peaceful. Scientists believe they may accelerate metabolism, ease fatigue, and boost immunity.

In the ionizer, a high voltage (but at extremely limited current, for safety) is induced in the needle emitter. Electrons are pushed down the needle towards the point. The nearer they get to the point, the closer they are forced together. Electrons naturally repel each other, so as they reach the tip, the pressure becomes too much and they leap off, onto the nearest air molecule, making it ionized. This process creates a so-called “ion wind”. As negative ions repel each other, they are driven from the needle as a gentle breeze, dispersing into the sauna.

Control Panel

Press the “POWER” button on the panel. The LED (TEMP) at the left will show the default temperature at level 3 and the LED (TIME) at the right will show the default time at 5 minutes.

• Press “H” button on the right. The FIR heating panels will begin heating and the indicator will light.

• The “W” button on the left works as “START” or “STOP” for the ceramic heater. It is not necessary to adjust the ceramic heater during use because it has an automatic temperature control function.

• Temperature settings: a total of 5 levels: level 3 is medium; level 5 is the highest and usually for winter months while level 1 is the lowest and is suitable for frail persons. It is recommended to choose a suitable temperature depending on the needs of the user. The level can always be changed during a sauna session by pressing “+” or “-” under “TEMP” LED.

• Time setting: Maximum 20 minutes. Press “+” or “-” button under “TIME” LED to set working time. It will increase or decrease 5 minutes for each time pressed.

• When the timer counts down to 20 seconds, a beep will sound three times to warn you to continue heating or to end the session. If you need to continue heating, repeat 1-5 above. If you choose to end, wait for 30 seconds until the sound of a long beep indicates the session is over.
